Ignite presentation feedback

·         Good choice of topic with a good choice of examples

·         Issues of representation addressed here but you could go into more detail

·         Links to issues of male representation too- good

·         Delivery lacks a little but improving

·         Excellent to see wider examples brought in- this will be vital for a critical investigation

·         Very good research – how women are shown in films and link to the theory – Male gaze

·         Lacks a little in terms of rehearsal – losing track of presentation towards the end

·         A shame because there are some great stats/ research here (e.g. women in speaking roles)

·           Q&A starts an interesting and controversial debate

To turn my ignite presentation into a top quality critical investigation I would need to research so much more on my topic and perhaps find more examples. I would need more views on my topic, both sides of an argument. I need to decide on one main text which I could concentrate on that would trigger questions in order for me to develop a well detailed critical investigation.
