Critical investigation tutorial

·         Question: To what extent do films such as The Hunger Games reflect the recent growth in female protagonists in Hollywood films?

·         Secondary texts: Gravity, SALT, Tomb Raider… Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacall – historical investigation.

·         Hypothesis: there are now more female protagonists in major Hollywood films.

I am quite confident with my topic as we discussed possible theories and ideas of texts i could include in my critical investigation. I now understand how SHEP links in with my topic.
